Do I need a medical check-up to apply?
Selected plans such as Takaful Al-Shams and Takaful ProSecure offer guaranteed acceptance with no medical check-up. Plans with higher cover may require a simple health declaration.
What is the difference between takaful and insurance?
Takaful is a Shariah-compliant protection arrangement based on mutual co-operation and contribution (tabarru). A takaful operator pools contributions and shares surplus, while conventional insurance transfers risk to an insurer.
Can I cover my parents or children under my plan?
Yes. Family takaful plans can include your spouse and children, and selected plans allow parents to be added with a health declaration.
How do I make a claim?
